First Class Flights
Most of the time you will find first class flights at the front of an airplane and with some aircraft it is even on an upper deck. Most of the time curtains prevent passengers from economy class from entering business and first class flights. Although for security reasons many of these dividers are being taken down even though the restrictions still apply for passengers. The difference is seats is why many often prefer first class flights over other classes. The seats are often larger than any other class and have substantially more legroom than any other seat on the airplane. Many first class flights will have seating with fifty to eighty additional inches of legroom compared to other seats and four inches of additional width. First class flights also come with additional benefits. This includes special check in counter or zones at airports which may include fast track security. First class passengers are allowed to board the airplane ahead of other passengers and should they arrive late they are allowed to cut in front of other passengers in line when boarding the plane. Many airlines may even have a separate jet bridge just for first class passengers.
The food and beverage services for first class passengers are also higher than other classes. Drink are free and the selection often includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Drinks are also served immediately after individuals board the plane rather than after takeoff. Meals are often gourmet and come with a choice of wine and dessert. Often meals are served on real china with real cutlery compared to the plastic cutlery provided with the meals for other classes.
There is often at least one lavatory on a plane that is exclusively reserved for the use of first class passengers and the larger the plane the more bathrooms that are reserved. Some airlines have special services that provide first class passengers with complimentary limousine service to and form the airport. Some flights will also offer first class passengers audio and visual on demand entertainment. Although on some shorter flights first class passengers will only have a selection of normal films, television programs and interactive games.
