Space Flight
Since the birth of flight the human race has always been fascinated with space flight and the idea of space travel in general. In all of the history of space flights, no human being has ever had the opportunity to get a hold of paid civilian space flight travel, but that will soon change. Virgin Galactic, a Virgin group project, has taken on the daunting task of putting humans in space by the beginning of 2009. While these may be sub orbital flights, it is space flights never the less and people will pay good money to be able to fly around in space for any amount of time. The paid civilian space travel may cost as much as $200,000 USD per person, but people will certainly be willing to pay that much money to say that they have traveled in space. If you can’t afford the money but you would like to know what it is like to travel in space, there are online space fligth simulators on the internet that you can try if you would really like to know what space travel is like.
Since NASA’s first human space flight, people have always been fascinated with the idea of flying in space. The first manned space flight gave birth to a million dreams that a million people are having about flying in space. People may not realize how much of a task space flight really is, and how much preparation the astronauts have actually had to go through to even be considered for a manned space flight. They have had to go through training in the gravity simulator and in the space shuttle flight simulator. Tehre are a lot lof things about the environment in space that the body has to get used to, including weightlessness and that is not even mentioning the food.
Manning a space flight is a great thing to dream about, but if you can’t make the NASA cut and you don’t have a quarter of a million dollars to spend on a plane ticket, check out one of the flight simulators on the web that can help you feel like you are in space. It may not be the real thing, but it is a great (and free) alternative.
